Made my first bracelet with rubber rings! Not as slinky as metal, but makes a nice cuff. I used Euro 6-in-1, with 18ga 3/16” rings, a pretty snug fit.

Moorish rose! I found this weave while looking through M.A.I.L. I think it’s really gorgeous. I’ve never done much with Mobius weaves and wanted to try this, and had some leftover rings from my last bracelet. I gave it to my dad, since he doesn’t wear a lot of jewelry. Or any, for that matter.
Hello! Miss me?
I have a bit of backlog of things to put up here, but I’m going to try and spread them out some.
This is a copper Japanese dragonscale I made. As you may have noticed from some of my other posts, I have an affinity for copper.
In other news, I may soon open up my own Etsy shop. It depends on how much work I have this semester. And if I have a job (hah!) when I graduate in May.
This is a red panda I made for my cousin’s baby. My mom liked it so much that I made her one. Not the best picture, but it’s what I have. It is the first thing I have made completely from my imagination and not using a pattern/instructions. I think it turned out pretty well!
This is a chainmaille belt I made for my quiver. The quiver was made by my friend and my former captain. I bought the buckle off Etsy. I might be making more for my minions this year. It’s aluminum, so it’s pretty light. It was meant to be loose so I could sling it across my hips, but it’s falling off! I’m probably going to shorten a bit. I might order some colored rings and try to write my name in the belt. We’ll see how that goes.
This is a belated birthday present! I really love the red/gold side. I’m really enjoying the Japanese weaves and how flexible they are, given the number of connections they have. I know, I know, my math major is showing. Still all aluminum, design for “Reversible Japanese Lace” is from Chained.
This is another square wire creation! This one’s for me. This is, yet again, dragonscale, but this time it’s all square copper wire rings. I love the clasp, but it gets tarnished really fast. Faster than the rest of the necklace. I love the Victorian feel.
This is a bracelet I made sometime last year for a friend, who has returned it to me for some repair. I lengthened it a little and put on a better suited clasp. It’s aluminum in unanodized, blue, and green, and the weave is dragonscale. This was my first time with that weave. Now it’s one of my favorites!
This is from my first foray into needlefelting! I have some supplies and some plans to make some more things, hopefully a couple safe enough for my cousin’s two year old. There was also a bumblebee, but I have no idea where it has gone…
Updates ahoy! I’ve been sitting on some things and working on some rather large projects. This one is an update on this post from a little over a year ago. I am hoping to make it about twice as wide, so who knows when I’ll finish it. I can only work on it so long before I can’t look at it for a month or two. Anyway, this is an update on something old. There will also be one on something new, something borrowed, and something copper. Sorry. The last one just happens to be copper.
